Log in as a Parent, go to the Family Hub tab, and tap "Add Child." You'll enter the child's first name and set a 4-digit PIN. Your child then logs in using your Family Clan Code, their name, and the PIN — no email required for kids.

Your Clan Code (format: BEE-XXXX-XXXX) is a unique identifier for your family. Children and partners use it to join your Clan. Find it in the Family Hub tab → "Clan Code" section. Keep it private — anyone with the code can request to join.

When a child completes a chore, they submit a photo as proof. The Google Gemini AI analyses the photo and determines whether the task appears complete. The result is shown to the parent, who retains the final decision to approve or reject. AI verification credits reset monthly based on your subscription tier.

Subscriptions are managed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). To cancel: on iOS, go to Settings → Your Name → Subscriptions → BudgetClan → Cancel. On Android, open Google Play → My Apps → Subscriptions → BudgetClan → Cancel. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period.

Yes. Family chat is end-to-end encrypted using AES-256 + RSA — we cannot read your messages. All data is stored in Firebase with strict security rules ensuring families can only access their own data. Our website API uses rate limiting, security headers, and input validation. All connections use HTTPS/TLS.

Share your Clan Code with your partner. They open BudgetClan, select "Partner" on the login screen, enter the Clan Code, and sign in with Google. A join request is sent to you, and you can approve or deny it from the Family Hub tab. Once approved, you can set their permission level (viewer or co-admin).

Go to App Settings → Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account, all child profiles, transactions, chat history, and family data within 30 days. This action is irreversible. Only the Parent (Clan Admin) can delete the entire Clan. Partners and children cannot delete the family account.

When a Partner signs in with the Clan Code, a join request is created with status "pending." The Parent must go to the Family Hub tab and approve the request before the Partner can access the Clan. If you are the Parent, check the Family Hub → Partners section for pending requests.
